Tanja Stephani

Tanja is a freelance illustrator, sculptor, artist and bluegrass bass player living and working in an old farmhouse on a mountain in Switzerland with pets, a lovely husband, children, and a fabulous grandmother.

After art school, she trained as an graphic designer–in the early eighties without computer! She learned to do all by hand: lettering, illustration, etc.

Tanja loves to play with all kind of materials, and love to explore new media.

The magic of giving life to her characters–in illustration or three-dimensional–gives her a wonderful feeling.

When she’s not drawing, you can find Tanja in a huge garden, in the forest, on the ground playing with my pets, or sitting together with family and friends playing music.
